Servings: Serves 8
Total Time: 1 hour 45 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 250g Cream Cheese
  • 70g Castor Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 125g Whipping Cream
  • 10g Cake Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 tsp Rose Syrup
  • 1 drop of Pink Food Coloring, optional
  • Fresh Fruits for garnish, optional

Preparation Steps:

Step 1: Prepare the Batter

  1. Combine 250g cream cheese and 70g castor sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the eggs one by one, whisking well after each addition, followed by 125g whipping cream. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. Add 10g cake flour to the mixture and mix until smooth and there are no lumps.
  4. Divide the batter evenly into two separate bowls.

Step 2: Add Flavors and Color

  1. In one bowl, add 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and mix well.
  2. In the other bowl, add 3 tsp rose syrup and a few drops of pink food colouring to achieve the desired shade of pink. (Optional)

Step 3: Layer and Bake the Cheesecake

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Line a 6-inch round pan with parchment paper.
  3. Pour the vanilla batter into the prepared pan, then pour the pink rose-flavoured batter on top.
  4. Bake for 1 hour until the top of the cake has changed to a dark brown colour.

Step 3: Layer and Bake the Cheesecake

  1. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool on a rack. The cake will be jiggly and the centre very soft.
  2. Refrigerate the cake overnight before cutting and serving.

Step 5: Garnish and Serve

  1. Before serving, garnish the cheesecake with fresh fruits for an elegant touch. (Optional)
